Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have a B.E/BTech degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications.
Age Criteria: The maximum age limit for the engineer is 36 years on 01.01.2020.
Application Fee: The candidate has to pay Rupees 210 along with a service charge (18% GST).
Pay Scale: Candidates will get Rupees 15600 to 42000 in pay band 4A along with grade Pay of Rupees 5400.
Selection Procedure: The examination will consist of two parts described below.
- Written Test: Written test will be 200 marks.
- Interview: The interview shall be 100 marks.
The final merit list for the Assistant Engineer post will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in the written examination and in the interview together. Qualifying marks for each category are shown below. This percentage based on both the marks interview and written test. For example, a general category candidate must secure 40 % aggregate marks in both the exams.
